Seriously, I’m sick of my Windows Phone’s shit. Anyone here know a good smartphone that operates on Gophone that isn’t a slow clunky peice of shit that crashes all the time? Something around the $150 range is possible?

Huawei has some pretty nice phones at a nice price. or, you could go with a 5S, those sell for nearly nothing and still run great as apple still supports it like the 6 and 6s

I know your pain. I recently got a Nexus 5x, but that’s a little out of your budget.

Try something from OnePlus.
Fully unlocked phones for not much money.

LG Escape 2, it’s a budget phone so it won’t be crazy high resolution screen or super high powered, but it’s great for important things like, y’know, calling people and stuff. Seriously it’s a great phone for the price, I’m happy with mine.

I’m on AT&T and picked up a ZTE Z Max 2 about a month ago. $109 out the door at best buy. It’s worlds better than my piece of crap Nexus 5 was. Expandable memory, can swap batteries, etc. It’s not insanely fast, which doesn’t matter to me, it was cheap and it gets the job done.
I hate Android with a passion but can’t afford an iPhone. This was my best choice considering how tight my phone budget was. I bought it one day after my Nexus crapped the bed and I’ve been pretty darn happy with it. I need a phone for work so grabbed the ZTE one day and I really can’t complain about it!

Alcatel usually makes deals on the idol 3, I have one and its a decent phone. Maybe a moto g could be at that price too.

Since you are in the no-contract world, don’t limit yourself to just Go Phone. Especially if other providers have decent service in your area. Either way, you can still find a nice Samsung S3 for under $100 probably on most networks. With cyanogen, I am pretty sure you can have Lolipop or Marshmello (latest android versions) on there. The later phones are obviously better but rather unnecessary really.

You probably could get a previous gen iphone for under $200 easily. People dump old iphones like hot cakes as soon as the new one comes out. But the phone is generally supported and will last fine for quite a few years. I see plenty of people still rocking iphone 4s without issue. I couldn’t deal with Apple, but some people are indifferent to that.

Removable battery and SD card are going to forever be my requirements in a phone. Removable battery more so than anything else. I have a piece-o-crap Samsung (S2 equivalent specs) but it uses S3 batteries. I have 5 batteries for the phone since they were about $10 a piece. Makes life a ton easier when I can be away from a power outlet for multiple days if I need to be. SD card is nice to have for sure but streaming everything is the future anyways.

Lumia 635. It’s a hand-me-down admittingly but it’s not the first windows phone I’ve had either. The last one was new and was a mess, too.

I had that phone. After stuggling months with Win 10 on it, I ditched it for a Note 4. I couldn’t handle that crap any longer.
